Occasional Furniture often comes under the same umbrella as Dining Furniture as many dining ranges have matching coffee tables, lamp tables, sideboards etc. However we do deal with some manufacturers that make individual pieces such as Jansen International. Jansen is based locally but due to the ornate nature of some of the furniture it is often manufactured overseas.

Many of our customers come into the store looking for odd tables or magazine racks to finish off their room. After all it is always the little touches that make the greatest difference.

They often become a focal point or a conversation starter and complement the larger pieces in the room. We offer Occasional Furniture ranges made from fine natural woods, sleek metals and shining glass as well as the more traditional ornate collections where pieces are often passed from generation to generation.

The more elegant designs available are pedestals and cake stands as well as drink cabinets and roll top desks. Console tables are still popular as are hat stands and nests of tables. Many of these are hand carved out of mahogany or other hard woods to give a real feeling of grandeur.

For those customers whose tastes are a little more modern we have a range of Occasional Furniture made primarily from pure glass and this includes pieces such as coffee tables in all shapes and sizes, side tables, desks and display pedestals.
