Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity that has been committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families living in Newark and district, since 1987.

We have 4 beds for short-term respite care, 11 day care places each week day and provide care in the community to care for our patients. Our Resource & Information Centre based in Newark town centre provides information and advice to patients, family and carers. We are fully registered with the Care Quality Commission.

70% of our patients suffer from cancer, whilst we support patients with life-limiting illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Each year we provide care for over 400 patients and support for their families, caring for around 100 patients at any one time. All of our care is provided at no cost to the patient or their family.
